Date: September 30, 2014

Time: 9 a.m to 6 p.m (Mingle event 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

On September 30th Urban Transition Öresund launches the results of a three-year collaboration on the development of tools and guidelines for a sustainable transition.

We welcome you to a day with focus on dialogue and cooperation between different actors in the Øresund Region. Urban Transition Öresund invite people to join the dialogue, relationship formation, workshops and debate about the future of urban transformation.

Sustainable transformation of cities requires new partnerships between public and private actors and new tools to promote dialogue in planning. A sustainable transition of cities takes time and sustainable urban developments is about overcoming the narrow mind set and begin to work across many different disciplines. Through cooperation we can work towards common solutions for future cities. Join the conference and listen to the speech from Dr. prof. Marcus Menzl, who will talk about working with social sustainability in Hamburg. Roland Kupers from Resilience Active Initiative will talk about the new bussword ‘resilience’ related to sustainable urban development. The conference also includes panel discussion with interesting stakeholders, workshops and networking.
