CINEMAXIV PhD Summer school
CINEMAX IV follows up on the successful CINEMAX I to CINEMAX III summer schools, where you get the chance to get teaching and hands on experience with the complete workflow of high-resolution tomography analysis.
Over 5 days, you will get introduced to data acquisition, 3D reconstruction, segmentation and meshing and finally, 3D modelling of data to extract physical parameters describing flow or mechanical properties. Teaching and exercises will take place in close interaction with top experts in the field. The whole workflow will be implemented in a Jupyter notebook python programming environment that will enable you to learn and tweak the analysis methods in detail.
The Summer School is typically awarded 2.5 ECTS by your university. You will get a diploma describing the course content.
The venue is at the beautiful and historical Fuglsang Manor, on Lolland, Southern Denmark.
Limited number of participants: Priority is given to students that are part of the MSCA Innovative Training Network, MUMMERING
August 27 – August 31 2018.
Arrival: Before Lunch of 27 August, departure 31 August
Registration deadline: 30 July. There is a limited number of places, first come first served!
Abstract upload for poster presentation: 15 August
There is no registration fee. However, you must pay 600 EUR for accomodation as part of the registration.
CINEMAX IV will take place at Fuglsang Manor, a historical conference centre and
refugium for artists and composers for more than a century, www.fuglsangherregaard.dk
There will bus transport from Copenhagen.
