Confirm your oral presentation:  To confirm your oral and/or your poster presentation, you should register and pay the attendant fee by 15th July, 2018. Please note that the early bird rate for registration expires by July 1st.

NSQH 2018 Abstract Submision Guidelines (Posters and presentations)


Please follow these rules when submitting an abstract: (Download the submission guidance)


  • The presenting author must attend the conference as a registered delegate.
  • NSQH wants to provide high-quality sessions focused on educational content that is free from commercial influence or bias. Thus, please declare any potential conflicts of interest for all authors during abstract submission.
  • The abstract must be no more than 600 words, exluding abstract title but including abstract body and possible references.

Please structure the abstract into the following sections:


 A title clearly indicating the nature of the investigation.


 Introduction to include problem description and summary of available knowledge


Objectives that clearly indicate the scientific question and objectives of the study and its clinical

   (or other) importance in 1-2 sentences


Methods that should contain sufficient information for the reader to understand the research

   design, the analytical techniques used in the study. Please document ethical considerations.


Results should contain objective data to answer the scientific question(s). This could include

   associations between interventions and outcomes, including unintended consequences.


Conclusion should provide only conclusion of the study directly supported by the results, along

   with implication for clinical practice, avoiding speculation and overgeneralization.


References, please note that this field is not mandatory, however, it will be included in the    

   characters count.



Please ensure your abstract does not contain spelling, grammar, or scientific mistakes, as NSQH will reproduce it as submitted. Please make sure to define all abbreviations.


Abstracts should be submitted by March 25th. Authors will be notified of acceptance of their proposal no later than April 6.
