USEtox is regularly arranging a summer school in order to address the increasing need for methods to assess impacts of toxic chemical emissions on human health and ecosystems in various science and policy frameworks including life cycle assessment, risk assessment, chemical substitution, and sustainability assessment. The summer school is suitable for PhD students, researchers, practitioners and professionals in companies and organizations working with toxicity characterization, chemicals management and environmental assessment.
The upcoming 3rd USEtox International Summer School will be held in Singapore, as a joint workshop between the USEtox International Centre hosted at the Technical University of Denmark’s Management Department (DTU-MAN) and the Food Technology Centre of the Nanyang Technological University (NAFTEC).
Hosted at the Food Technology Centre of the Nanyang Technological University (NAFTEC), the USEtox Summer School will focus on providing a practical overview of multimedia chemical fate modelling, multi-pathway human exposure modelling, ecosystem and human health effects modelling, and comparative indicators for human-toxicological and ecotoxicological impacts.
